Kundalini Meditation:

This meditation is best done at sunset or in the late afternoon. Being fully immersed in the shaking and dancing of the first two stages helps to “melt” the rocklike being, wherever the energy flow has been repressed and blocked. Then that energy can flow, dance and be transformed into bliss and joy. The last two stages enable all this energy to flow vertically, to move upward into silence. It is a highly effective way of unwinding and letting go at the end of the day.

Instructions:
The meditation lasts one hour and has four stages. The meditation is over when you hear three gong beats.

First Stage: 15 minutes
Be loose and let your whole body shake, feeling the energies moving up from your feet. Let go everywhere and become the shaking.
Your eyes may be open or closed.

Second Stage: 15 minutes
Dance – any way you feel, and let the whole body move as it wishes.
Your eyes may be open or closed.

Third Stage: 15 minutes
Close your eyes and be still, sitting or standing – witnessing whatever is happening inside and out.

Fourth Stage: 15 minutes
Keeping your eyes closed, lie down and be still.

 Note:
In the fourth stage you may choose to remain sitting if you wish.

  • Who is Osho?

Osho was known as the controversial, revolutionary mystic.

He was a Guru, a Contemporary Mystic, born in India. Meditation teacher and Professor of Philosophy.

He and his followers developed many meditations for modern people & adapted some ancient techniques. He left his body on January 19, 1990.

Osho has been described by the Sunday Times in London as one of the “1000 Makers of the 20th Century”

and by American author Tom Robbins as “the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ.”

‘Sunday Mid-Day’ (India) has selected Osho as one of ten people – along with Gandhi, Nehru and Buddha – who have changed the destiny of India.

For modern people it’s not so easy to drop into silence, with modern technology keeping us mentally occupied. First we need to throw out some rubbish and then silence can be felt.

Osho Meditations revolve around the idea that life is to be lived fully and to experience joy and love.

Once you experience the silence within, your motivation will flow.
